Caution: this site is in construction.  I have not yet visited Massa Martana, so all the information (particularly about logistics) needs to be checked.

If you arrive from Todi by train, you alight at the station at Villa San Faustino, near the site of the Roman way station of Vicus Martis (later Civitas Martana), on Via Flaminia.   This allows you to see: the catacomb; Ponte Fonnaia; the Abbazia di San Faustino; and Santa Maria in Pantano.

Massa Martana, which is where you arrive if you take the bus from Todi, is some 8 km from the railway station.

You will need a car to get to San Felice di Giano, some 13 km to the north east.

Massa Martana was devastated by the earthquake in 1997 and only became accessible again in 2006.  It holds an annual ice-cream festival ("sagra del gelato") in early August.
